SoCS: walks – or not

I used to enjoy going for walks with my spouse but haven’t been able to for most of the last 15 months due to my current health struggles.

You can read more about that here, in the context of today being the last day of EDS/HSD Awareness Month.

I used most of my energy getting that post together, here in this early morning timeframe, so this is a short Stream of Consciousness Saturday post. Linda’s prompt this week is “walk.” Please consider joining us or just stop by Linda’s site to wish her and her family well as they are recovering from illness at this point.

    1. Thanks, Laura. We are working on it. I have some doctors now who are taking things more seriously and it’s going to take a team to address everything. My physical therapist has been my most valuable asset so far but most doctors aren’t interested in what she has to say, even though she has spent hours and hours over the course of many months treating me.

  1. I’m glad doctors are starting to take your condition and treatment more seriously. Physical therapy is awesome! It’s helped me with variety of challenges. I hope you can still enjoy being outside on nice days/evenings one step at a time.

    1. Thanks, JoAnna! I admit that I’m nearly always indoors these days. My fatigue level and balance issues are especially challenging when it comes to walking but maybe soon I’ll be able to do a bit of early morning walking on B’s arm.
