He’s actively encouraging violence because that makes him feel powerful. Back in my previous location, I was run off the road more than onece by his supporters (because I drive a blue car — I have no stickers or anything on it) and harassed often. This encouragement to be the worst self, and the fact that so many enjoy it is appalling.

I’m so sorry you experienced that kind of harassment repeatedly. At their root, all manner of abuse is an abuse of power. Thank you for calling it out.
