Yesterday, the proof book for my chapbook, Hearts, arrived.
It’s amazing to hold my book for the first time!
My immediate job is to review it and send final edits to Kelsay. The corrections I had sent in the first round had all been addressed, so there was not much to comment on.
I sent the email today, on what would have been my mom’s 91st birthday.
She is the center of Hearts. ❤ ❤ ❤

What an amazing feeling that must be

It is! It’s a bit mind-boggling, too. I wonder how I’ll be when we get to release date and a book of my books arrive.

Thanks! As a first-timer, it’s a bit of a learning curve but Kelsay has been great.

How exciting! And isn’t it wonderful when synchronicity kicks in?

I almost waited another day to send the final edits, thinking perhaps my judgement would be clouded by the synchronicity, but, after speaking with my daughter about it, decided that I really needed to send on Mom’s birthday.

That’s so much fun, and made even more so by the connection with your mom’s birthday. Really nice.
