The thought of 80 years with the horror of nuclear weapons is difficult to bear. I also mourn for all the good that could have been done with the money spent on the arms race.

Yes, it would be. 80 years is such a long time but there are still survivors sharing their memories. Their recollections are haunting.

i have been listering to some amazing stories on the BBC about how some people survived and some just didn’t .
We must never forget…. Why is always the innocent who suffer… And nothing has changed we have learned nothing have we.
