Some states are already implementing parts of this, and children are both being exploited and dying. It’s disgusting.

Yes, and there have always been plenty of instances where employers were exploiting children, especially undocumented ones, without government oversight at any level. Of course, undocumented adults often suffer dangerous working conditions, wage theft, and trafficking, too, sometimes with state regulators looking the other way. It’s infuriating that the Republicans rail against migrants and stoke fear against them, all the while knowing that their corporate buddies are profiting from their labor.
