I’m not sure why, but my email has just gotten a bunch of WordPress notifications that range over the last four days. I’m hoping I haven’t missed anything in my commenting and replies, but it’s possible. It’s ironic because I have been making a concerted effort to slog through my email backlog that developed while I was tending to family health stuff and had finally knocked it back to under 250 messages – until this new torrent of WordPress messages arrived. Oh, well! Back to work!

I’m sure sometimes that they save them up and then inundate us just to be annoying. Best of luck – I’m working on my backlog too!

Well, at least this notification got through in a timely way! 😉 Good luck with your backlog, Linda. I think I have to accept that I will never really catch up on everything, at least not all at once. I must admit that the email backlog makes me a bit more anxious than some of the other deferred tasks. I’m afraid I’ll miss something important, despite my best efforts to catch the high-priority items as they come in.
